  Testimonials for Fresh Eucalyptus!

Following are actual, unsolicited testimonials from happy Euc customers, mostly from pet bird and sugar glider owners...

"I know my babies love your Eucs!!!"
- Megi of SugarGliderAlley.com in Missouri, 2.27.08

My order came in a few days. I've ordered a few times and never had a problem.
- P, 2.26.08

Mine love to line their pouches with the leaves!! lol
- P, 2.24.08

That being said they DO like to chew stuff. You can buy eucalyptus from a repuatable source, and mine LOVE to chew that. Matt at eucproducts http://www.eucproducts.com/ is great and his eucalyptus is great...you could try the starter pack with your gliders if you want to give them something to chew.
- J in WA, 2.22.08

Package arrived yesterday before the icestorm. Our Gliders took to them right away. She started to bring the leaves, using her tail, into her nest. First time we saw her use her tail to carry anything! Thanks
- CG in OH, 2.12.08

Thank you so much I recieved my order yesturday. Thanks for the fast shipment. I will be doing business with you again.
- JK in Texas, 2.12.08

I just ordered some.....I got some before and they loved them!!!!!
- P, 2.05.08

I keep eucalyptus in my babies cages all the time, they love to eat and play with it, even drag it into their sleep pouch. I will leave it in there until they have chewed it and it dries out (about 4 days) then I take it out and put some fresh in. Matt's eucalyptus is a bigggggg hit at my house.
- TW in Florida 1.30.08

OH my goodness....
I received my Eucalyptus order from Matt and my lonely boy was chewing happily on a branch, while my pair lined their pouch. My lonely boy has loved his extra treats and toys. It looks like no matter which way I turn Jinx will have a friend soon. Life is good.
- d in TX, 1.23.08

I'd also like to say how much all my sugar gliders love your products. A friend sent me a starter pack and I've never seen the gliders act the way they did when I opened the bag of leaves by their cages. I do sugar glider rescue work, so I always have gliders coming through and its nice to be able to give these kids a special treat while they're with me.
- KK in Florida, 1.18.08

I only buy from Matt, because he doesn't use chemicals or pesticides.
- A in Illinois 1.28.08

The website that has the best eucalyptus is http://www.eucproducts.com. Matt has the best, fresh, euc and my suggies love it. He uses no pesticides on his product and you can get custom orders, just email him with what you want. Your suggies will have an awesome time playing with it. I just got a couple of rescues in and they are in heaven with their euc.
- TW in Florida 1.28.08

Hi, I got my Eucalyptus last night and i put it in the cage and they loved it. Mine are eating it not just chewing on it. Thanks.
- A in AZ, 1.17.08

Matt is the best!
When Euc dries out, I soak it in the tub. It usually rehydrates.
- V in IL, 1.17.08

I've gotten many orders from EucProducts and it seems that often the giant, banana-shaped leaves have more brown spots/defects, maybe because they're older. I just rinse them well when they first arrive and then store in the fridge or dry them (which my gliders prefer).
- E in OH, 1.17.08

you could always contact Matt, he is really awesome about backing his products, if you got the euc from him. HTH
- J in WA, 1.16.08

Matt is very reliable, and if you have any doubts or questions, I'm sure he'd be happy to help you.
- H in NY, 1.16.08

I got my order today also. Mine have some spots. Nothing to worry about. I washed mine with water and then wiped them off with a wet towel and they smell great. Mine lasted 3 weeks before. I also take them out and wet them and I wipe them off again. Keeps them fresh for me
- A in Ohio, 1.16.08

It is such a wonderful and healthy treat for them
- A in IL, 1.16.08

If your grocery store or Super Wal-Mart has the big green plastic bags in their produce dept, snag afew extra with your fruits and veggies. They work wonders for the Euc leaves. I use them for all my veggies and fruits, they keep them from giving off some gas that makes things ripen too much. Anyway, my Euc leaves have been in one for over a month and they still are just as fresh and sweet smelling as the day they came. I buy 5 lbs at a time and keep them in the veggie drawer of my suggie fridge.
One thing though, don't twist tie the green bags, just fold the end over so there is still air circulating.
- T in WY, 1.16.08

Wow, Matt, got my order today and WOW again. Your eucalyptus is the best. It is so pretty and nice, I had to break a leaf to make sure it was real, it is that good. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!!

My suggies love their eucalyptus. My Angie loves it so much she carries it around in her tail, even runs in her wheel with it. They munch on it after they play with it and strip the bark off the sticks. The silly little things even carry it into their pouch and sleep with it.

I signed up for the monthly subscription and now my babies will never be without their eucalyptus.

For anyone who hasn't tried Matt's eucalypus, what are you waiting for? It is toy/treat that is good for them and you feel good giving it to them.

Thanks Matt, for your great product and great customer service. I have some very satisfied suggies here.
- T in Florida, 1.4.08

My suggies LOVE THEIR EUC! As soon as I get my next paycheck we are ordering some more!!!

The gliders were absolutely thrilled with the leaves and branches last time - so I need more :^)
- K in Florida

My Ayla LOVES to pack the leaves around, now she is teaching the others how
- T in Wyoming

ahh got some in the gift exchange and mine loved it and was planning on ordering more when the starter kit I have now ran out. guess Im gonna have to jump on it early, but like everyone says it last a long time if you follow the little instructions so it should be fine in the fridge for a few weeks right?
- L in San Antonio

I have gotten this for my gliders before. They love it. They eat it and I find it everywhere in the cage, where they hide it.
- A in Ohio

They will love it. Mine eat, play and carry it into their pouchs and sleep with it.
Angela was so excited the first time I gave it to her, she carried a stick with leaves on it in her tail all night. Should have seen her trying to run in her wheel dragging that. LOL Matt's eucalyptus is great. It is soooo fresh and if you follow his instructions on storing it, it will last a long a long time. And I love the way my suggies room smells
- TW, St. Augustine, FL 11.14.07

My last order went over well. In fact I still have some left but saw your special on glider central and couldn't resist. I love the smell and my suggies love the eucs. They are sort of like cat nip for gliders. I just wish I could grow one in my house.
- J in Des Moines, IA 11.14

Matt - you are fabulous!

When the suggies make hash out of it, I crunch them up some more and throw them all over my bedroom floor and then vacuum them up. Makes my room smell great and everytime I use the vac after that it fills my house with freshness.
- TW, GliderCENTRAL, 11.19.07

When I put Matt's fresh eucs in my gliders' and 'tiels' cages, not only do the critters enjoy them, but visitors to my home comment on the lovely scent of the eucs. It permeates and perfumes the whole house! Good stuff! :thumbs up:
- W2, GliderCENTRAL, 11.19.07

They chew them up and have a ball playing with them.
- TW, GliderCENTRAL, 11.19.07

Hi Matt,
Here are a couple pictures of very happy customers! Majek is an umbrella cockatoo and Zen is a Moluccan cockatoo (and a bit camera shy). Please feel free to use these on your website if you wish. I am heading out to the website to order some more!

Thanks for a great product,
Jan, Majek (left and center) and Zen (right) 11.17.07

Matt,
I have to begin by saying that Marcee LOVES the eucs! Here is a picture of her in her tent. She drags the leaves in there and makes a fragrant nest. Last time you sent leaves (attached to twigs), sticks, and a cute little stump that she loves."

I can see that, there is a big grove of E. camaldulensis var obtusa growing in a park in Brownsville TX and the Mexican parrots love them, it can get pretty noisy

I always load my Parrots cage up with fresh branches and leaves I cut from my trees. My bird loves them. It also loves to eat the seed capsules. Joe

branches, such as untreated apple branches or eucalyptus, allow them to chew and exercise their natural sap-sucking tendencies. For all your eucalyptus needs, please visit EucProducts at http://www.eucproducts.com =:^)

It is my personal belief, and one that I've shared with many people, that eucalyptus is the single most important thing we can do for our glider's health. I've discussed this with Suz, and with Peggy, and with Marz (from Australia) - among others, and they have all agreed with me. It isn't something I can have substantiated by a vet - or at least, not by any vet *I* know - but I've seen it!

My gliders who are chewers can go through a stick (or more!) a night! My gliders who are not chewers still end up stripping a bit of bark if I just leave the sticks in. The sticks and leaves don't go bad in the cages. The leaves CAN mildew in the fridge if left too long. If I put the leaves in the cages and they ignore them, the leaves dry out. Just fill the sink with cold water and drop the dried leaves in. They refresh themselves!

I've had larger Euc perches in my gliders cages for a month now - they are still enjoying them!

If you want me to elaborate on *why* it is so healthy, let me know!
- AV in Illinois 10.12.07

My gliders LOVE to have eucalyptus ( http://www.eucproducts.com ) and they love to strip the bark. I could talk and talk and talk about all the good things about Eucalyptus for gliders, and about how wonderful Matt at http://www.eucproducts.com is... but then I'd be an advertisement and way off topic!
- AV

I asked for seeds in my order that I got I think less than a month ago. They sent me some. I love their customer service. Matt seems to genuinely want what's best. My suggies LOVED making a nest in their pouch with the leaves.
- L in Tampa Bay, FL 10.17.07

Very nice folks.
- K in Phoenix, AZ 10.17.07

The other main chewing cage loves making beautiful curly-cues and shreds with their Euc. And then nesting in it. They even sampled the leaves, which is a first for my gliders! But their nests are all thin curls of bark.
- AV 11.14.07

OMG guys, I have to tell you I got these from Furf for my exchange gift, and my gliders went BONKERS over them! I highly suggest you try them at this great price!
- C in Minnesota 11.14.07

The last order I got from you was fantastic and believe it or not I just gave the last of it last night. It really last and my babies love it.
- TW, St. Augustine, FL 11.14.07

Hi Matt; Got the euc. My gliders love it. Here is Terri enjoying her first euc leaves. The other love it too. I think it is glider crack! LOL.. After they eat on the euc they race around the cage and then fight over their stealth wheel. It's so funny to watch. Thanks again. Do you know where I could get a euc plant to grow at home? Have a good day.

Hi Matt,
Last night we received the branches, and they’re absolutely perfect. I love ‘em. Thank you again so much for your care in selecting them, cutting them, and also for affixing the mounting hardware, which really made my job a breeze. And yes, they do smell wonderful. I’m attaching a picture of Puku’s cage with the branches in place and also a picture of the Pookster himself. When we get him a companion in a couple of months, I may be emailing you for a couple more branches for the new guy.

Best,
- M

---

Matt,
You're the BEST!!!
I absolutely love the pictures of the BIG branch...it looks amazing and I am sure Marcee (and her new future friend) are going to love it. I really appreciate all of your help, time, and generosity...you are truly kind. I got the cage in the mail yesterday and plan to put the skeleton of it together tomorrow and then just wait for the branch to come and then put the roof on. I appreciate you sending it speedy...it means a lot to me and Marcee! As soon as we get it all put together I will send you some really good pictures for you to put on your site if you chose. It is going to be in our living room so that will be a nice back drop to showcase your and mother nature's efforts. Thanks again and I hope you and yours are having a wonderful weekend.
Sincerely,
- S 6.9.07

Hi Matt,
Thanks for the personal note in your email. What great customer service! It's not easy to come by that these days!
Anyway, I have two female sugar gliders, Thing One and Thing Two (my son named them) :) I call them One-z and Two-z. I recently joined GliderCentral and was reading some postings. I knew gliders loved eucalyptus from my research, but had not come across anything as far as purchasing until reading the posts. And since your service is so great I'm attaching a photo of the wee ones and you have my full permission to post on your web site. I will send you another with them and their eucalyptus when it arrives.
I will also more than likely be interested in your monthly service for leaves and chew sticks.
Thank you again for your personal service.
Sincerely,
- DH, NJ 5.31.07

Matt--
Thanks so much. My gliders (4) had a field day with the "sample pack" I received as a gift.
- West Dundee, IL - 4.19.07

---

I get a monthly shipment from Matt of leaves and chew sticks and my fur-kids love both the leaves and the sticks. And they do peel the sticks to shreads and pull the leaves into their nests. The smell is delish and helps deflect the gliders' natural 'perfume'. Good stuff eucs!

- Irene, 4.12.07

---

---

I placed the sample order to see if you sent out a species of Euc that I could use, and to see the quality of your product.
I must say that the quality cannot be better, and you can count on my continued business!

- Matt M., TX, 4.8.07

Eucalyptus is great. It gives our companion Aussie birds a little taste of home, haha! My birds will get some more this evening when I get home. Well worth the wait.....
- Jamie, Memphis, TN 9.14.06

---

Sherry I got my bunch today as well, hope you don't mind but Solo wanted in this thread.....to say YUMM!
P.S. My guys were freaked out by it at first but not anymore!
- SG, Milwaukee 9.13.06

---

My Apple loves the leaves best, Solo likes the stems best.
Solo was stripping the bark off and chewing it...I was like hooray you like it.
- 9.14.06

---

I buy the 1 pound size so all the flock gets it, but the Toos love it.
Keeps great in the fridge in a zip lock baggie and smells great....

I ordered the 2nd smallest packet (1 lb.) and was very pleased with the freshness and quality. I followed the soaking & storage instructions but my boys (and cockatiels!) went so insane over the stems, sticks and leaves that the order only lasted about a week! I am going to go on the monthly, automatic delivery program which can be adjusted to your glider's preferences. Mine like the longish stems with lots of leaves attached so they can destroy them!

"I’ve had Gauguin (Eclectus) for 8 months and Linus (CAG) for 3 and they like to chew like mad --that’s a good thing. Its challenging to get them to chew other stuff besides our clothes, tablecloths, ears... They seem to enjoy stripping stuff so the Euc branches are perfect."

I recieved my product already, Thanks! It was very fast delivery.
I will definitly be ordering more again! My gliders Love it!

Just received my delivery…thanks, that was quick! I did not know the leaves would be so long. I am used to seeing the small round ones they use in dried bouquets. I have a spiral thing in my Grey’s aviary that holds an ear of dried corn (sold in stores to feed squirrels). I weaved some leaves through it, creating a basket effect, and dropped a millet treat at the bottom as a hidden treasure. Picasso is making short work of it already!

Yes, eucalyptus is good for them. In fact, flocks of birds, including wild budgies, attack the eucalyptus forests of Australia and other countries regularly. It is actually a natural wild food for them. I know Molly just goes crazy for hers.

I have never been so satisfied with any product or service in my life.

The eucalyptus leaves seem a bit pricey until you get the order. There are lots of leaves in there. Molly really enjoys hers and loves to chew the little stem that connects them to the branches. They stay fresh for a long time in my frig also. It's a natural product and they like the variety.

another testimonial! -- from Maryann. 10.30.06
http://z14.invisionfree.com/justbudgies/index.php?showtopic=3239

u could put a stick in each nest box as a chew toy for the parents and chicks and it could stop feather plucking, or the parents attacking chicks. I know, u probably dont have that problem, but instead of a millet or block u could try the sticks????!!!

You need to make an order. I gave u the card at the show. You should at least do a 1/2 pd order and ask Matt for a couple of seeds. I think he will oblige. Let him know I sent you. He is very generous.

You gotta try them. They are really aromatic, large, thick, and I score the leaves by just ripping them to the quill to get the budgies excited. Let me know if u do order. The price is good. I think 17 bucksish.
-Maryann 10.30.06

Your last shipment arrived yesterday. It took only six days to arrive and the eucalyptus inside was as fresh as fresh can be. It was a delight to receive it. I think we have found the solution!! Molly is very excited about her leaves. She just loves them!!

Just returned from a brief trip to Michigan and found your package of seed pods waiting on our return.  We have already brewed some of them and the house smells just lovely.  Thanks for your help.

Hi Matt-

Yes they enjoyed the eucalyptus sticks! At the time my cockatiels were still getting adjusted to their new home but as they are more comfortable now, I think they will enjoy this batch even more. I've also added a second budgie (parakeet) and a conure parrot to my flock. The conure loves to gnaw on everything so I think he will like the eucalyptus sticks, too.

A mix of thick and thin sticks would be great. The conure is a little larger than a cockatiel but he's a lot stronger and has a larger beak (he's bascially a very small macaw). I think he'll like the larger sticks that the smaller birds would be intimidated by.

Thanks!
Jamie from Tennessee 1.30.06

Hi Matt - My sugar gliders LOVED the chew sticks and leaves. It was a riot watching them handling the branches and trying to rearrange them and drag them into their nest. :P

Thanks again!

I just placed an order for a 1-pound combo pack of eucalyptus products from you. I am very excited to have my2 budgies try them out. I've always wanted to give them the wood that is found in their natural environment, but living in Canada makes that quite difficult. I am sure my hen, who loves to chew everything, will be quite impressed. Thanks for offering this much needed product for my babies.

- M.C. in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada  1.20.06

Thank you very very much!
I lived in Fountain Valley, CA (near Huntington Beach) for 27 years, and I remember the Eucs my mom had in the back yard. They smelled great!

Thanks,
- Carrie owner of 3 sugar gliders. 1.13.06---

"Matt, I got the leaves today! They are great! JUst what I needed. I actually didn't get them for a pet. Don't laugh, I got them to help rid us of our flea problem. We have two cats who occasionally get out and ALWAYS bring back fleas. With two small children I hate using harsh chemicals. So my mom suggested getting eucalyptus leaves and pods to spread around to get rid of them. Apparently the fleas don't llike the smell. So I collected a few from the ground in Golden Gate Park. And it worked, but now we need more. And since I can't destroy trees in the park......I found you guys. So that's what the leaves are being used for.

Thanx! I know I will be back."

" Hi Matt

Fantastic!
I'm getting Brady used to it slowly as I think I mentioned on the phone. But soon I'm going to rearrange his cage and playground to incorporate the new euc branches. Thank you very much. You're making my bird a happy boy indeed!"
  • Nancy in California, April 2005

" My sugar gliders aren't picky but after that man that I used to get euc leaves from sold his property two of mine died and I really believe it was because I could not find any fresh eucs. They don't eat any packaged sugar glider food. I feed them only fresh fruit/vegs and for protein live mealworm, chicken, and steak. (Yes, they are spoiled.) Will have to send you a picture of their cage. The Dept of Agriculture inspector came to my house to see my set-up and said if reincarnation is possible he hopes to come back as a sugar glider living in that cage!"
  • Cindy in North Carolina, March 2005

Hi,
My first order of branches and leaves just arrived. Thanks so much for this great looking and smelling load of Eucalyptus.  There is great irony in me ordering this. My daughter in San Francisco works for the forestry Service as a Wildland Firefighter. Part of her work lately has been cutting down the overgrown vegetation of Eucalyptus on Mt. Tam north of the Golden Gate bridge. She has been sending mammouth amounts thru the chipper these past four weeks and it breaks her heart and mine.

So I thank you and wish to ask about placing an order of branches to arrive every month or so. I have 15 companion birds and many pairs of Parrotlet, Conure and Cape breeders. My 6 Cockatoos just loved the leaves and I am in the process of cutting the branches and making perches for all the big birds cages. I am VERY popular around here since that order has arrived.
Many thanks,

  • Sandra, Arkansas, Oct. 2004
"The birdies get to love the leaves; sometimes it takes them several weeks to get used to the 'new things' in the cage. Recently, I bought a eucalyptus perch. The little critters are tearing it apart! They love it! It's hard to believe that they actually fight over who gets the perch. I'll have to order a few more."
  • John in Pennsylvania
    Posted on Parakeet Perch Club

"Yes, the budgies have really taken to the leaves and toys. At first they weren’t too keen on the leaves but after a few days they started to eat them no problem and now u can see the difference in them they are a lot more happy and playful. thank you."

  •  Tony, Thurles County, Ireland

"It is amazing. It was hard to train them to eat fruits and vegetables, yet with the eucalyptus leaves, they naturally love them."

  • Treesje Ang, Oakville, Ontario Canada

"The birds love the leaves, they were a little slow to try them but love them with gusto now."

  • Gill Salisbury
"The perches are GREAT!
I was shocked cuz my SI eclectus usually turns up her nose at everything!!
I've shared some branches & leaves with another bird owner."
